 Simran is either very much impressed by the story of the film or she has become very much desperate to regain a foothold in the Tamil film industry. It has become a trend for comedians to switch to playing lead roles in Tamil. Vadivelu has become quite successful in this transition. Upcoming comedian in Tamil, Karunaas is now going to make his debut as hero. Attempts are now on to remake the Shrinivasan-starrer 'Vadakkunokiyantram' in Tamil. Shrinivasan had written the story and also directed it. Karunaas is going to play the lead role in the film. Parvathy was the heroine in the Malayalam film. In the Tamil version, Simran is going to play the female lead!!!
