The Tamil Nadu Government’s move to restrict the use of English titles for Tamil movies with a tax exemption for movies that has a Tamil title was welcomed by all. But when the Chief Minister Karunanidhi decided not to give the tax exemptions for films with offensive titles many films got affected. Films like Udambu Yeppadi Irukku, Porukki, Kettavan, Pollathavan all came under the scanner.
Now Sundar C’s movie Porukki is all set to undergo a title change. And this time they have decided on a catchy and trendy title and the Superstar in Sivaji uses this word.
