Popular Music director and reality show judge, Sharath will return to Malayalam film music field through the new film 'Thirakkatha'. This new Prithviraj starrer directed by Renjith will feature five songs set to music by the composer, who made plenty of hits in the early nineties.

Sharath is giving music to a film after a gap of eight years. Rafiq Ahamed will pen the lyrics for this film which is based on a story told in the backdrop of film making.

Priyamani will appear in the female lead while Siddhique, Harishree Ashokan, Anoop Menon, Augustine, Samvrutha and Sukumari will also make their presence felt in pivotal roles.

The shoot for the movie has already begun at the capital city. Planned to get completed in three schedules, this low budgeted film is also produced by Renjith and Mrs Maha Subair in the banner of Capital Theatres.
