Shankar , introducing Madhu as director, with Shashikanth and Manasa in the lead and produced by Chadalavada Padmavathy on the banner of Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films is ready to hit the screen on December 8.

Producer says, 'Shashikanth who had already gained some image as hero among the audiences, would gain further name through our film. 'Shankar' would remain a milestone in the career of Shashikanth.

The director moulded the film with good mass elements. Though it is his debut film, he made it like an experienced director. Tunes given by Vandemataram Srinivas would be another highlight. The risky fights done by Shashikanth himself would attract the audiences.

The film has not only mass elements but have several other ingredients that could attract the youth and women audiences.'
