Shankar is basking in the success of his latest film Sivaji The big budget film is said to have recovered the money spent on it. With Sivaji in his account, Shankar has to meet the high expectations from his fans. So his next film has to be a big budget one.

He has a pet project Robo which has been on his mind for over a couple of years. The story is about how Chennai will look in the year 3500. Shankar kept the story on the back burner as he was busy with Sivaji. Shankar is toying with casting either Shah Rukh Khan or Hrithik Roshan.

He wants to make the film in Hindi as it will have a wider audience and appeal. A producer from Mumbai and another from Hyderabad are reportedly keen to produce the film jointly.
