Shakeela the buxom lady who made a name for her in C Grade Malayalam films is now keeping away from the industry. She switched to Telugu and Kannada films and later married a Kannada director and settled. She made her presence once again after a long gap. The occasion was the audio release function of Lakshmi Putrudu Uday Kiran is the hero. Shakeela is playing a special role in the film. None of those who were present on the occasion could recognize Shakeela. She has shed a lot of weight and looks a shade of her former self. People realized her presence only when the organizers called her on to the dais.
