It is a well known thing in Tollywood. Many directors come up with a brilliant and blockbuster film with their debut film. But nine out of ten times, the second film often fails at the box office. It has happened to many directors and Bhaskar has now proved that he is no different. Parugu has failed to reach the audiences' expectations.
Bhaskar explored the often difficult relationship between a father and his teenaged son in a brilliant fashion. But in Parugu , he fails to explore it properly. We are not sure if the daughters love their father or not. The second daughter also goes in the same way as the elder daughter, even after seeing how shaken and hurt her father was with the act of her elder sister.
