A magazine recently wrote how Sammir Dattani got into a sozzling match with Minissha Lamba at a party but he laughs it off saying he is not much of a drinker.
"It was a function for the film called 'Bong Connection'. Raima Sen had invited both Minissha and me. We just had a harmless drink, that's all.
"I'm not much of a drinker and am the last one to create a scene in public. In fact, I'm very conscious of my public image because I've a large clan of Dattanis to be answerable to," Sammir told IANS.
He also rebuffs rumours about his link-ups.
"I do have a couple of very special female friends. But they aren't from the film industry. And I don't see myself getting hooked up with an actress at all," he said.
Sammir has just signed on the dotted line for Vikram Bhatt's next prestigious project.
"It's another very challenging role after my 'Mukhbir'. I'm here to work, not to romance my co-stars or to drink myself silly."
