Saif has always spelt sophistication and style. And now it is his body of work that speaks of his acting talent. With the recently released Race, Saif has made a mark successfully. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh says, "The industry always mentioned the three Khans when it spoke of star power - Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman. Then Hrithik Roshan made it to the premium list and so did Akshay Kumar These five actors called the shots, commanded the best fee, while their films fetched incredible prices. Post Race, Saif has joined the club. His film has raced ahead worldwide boasting of a collection of $10.5 million in three days. The actor is on a roll and has refused a Rs 30-crore deal from a corporate house. Producers have now pinned their hopes on his forthcoming venture Tashan."
The actor has just launched his production brand Illuminati Films. A-list directors Shriram Raghavan , Imtiaz Ali and Homi Adajania have been roped in to make films for his banner. In fact, Raghavan will start with Agent Vinod that has Saif playing the lead. And there's Karan Johar's untitled venture with Kareena.
"I will continue to do films at my pace and that's why I have got into production. The objective is to make highly entertaining and challenging movies," says Saif.
