 From the moment that Rajkumar Hirani announced that he would be making a film based on Chetan Bhagat's best selling novel 5 Point Something, rumours have been floating around as to the cast of the film. The latest buzz is that Hirani plans to cast SRK in the lead. Considering that Hirani originally wanted SRK to play Munnabhai for his original Munnabhai MBBS, we can't help but wonder if this film will finally bring the two together. Earlier rumours were that the film would star Hrithik, Abhishek and Saif in the roles of the 3 IIT students.

The idea to take the two characters into the US first arose when director Rajkumar Hirani saw Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi sitting together in a golf-cart in the US. The thought of two ‘bhais’ being more Dil-Raju-to-make-film-with-JD Producer Dil Raju is very impressed with the film Homam. He is happy with the taking of JD Chakravarthy and is planning to make a film with him. Dil Raju however wants the film to be a love and emotional one rather than a plain action film.
