Shankar Dada Zindabad is the only Chiranjeevi film in recent history that was out of the theatres within two weeks. The film has a very good story and is a remake of the hit Hindi film Lage Raho Munnabahi. The entire blame for the debacle is being placed at Prabhu Deva’s door. He is said to have copied the Hindi version frame by frame. Not just that, he even lifted some scenes from the Hindi version and simply pasted them in the Telugu version. Is it any wonder then that the film is a total washout?
