The music by Devi Sree Prasad was a big hit but the film does not rock in the same fashion. Despite Pawan Kalyan’s hard work and an impressive performance, the poor story and screenplay, played the spoilsport in the film. The flashback and the poor characterization of the villain and the unconvincing revenge plot, make Jalsa an average film. Pawan waited for seven long years after Khushi for a big hit.
