Actress and president of the Mahila wing of the Telugu Desam Party, Roja made some scathing comments on Chiranjeevi and his newly launched political party Praja Rajyam. Roja said that Chiranjeevi is no Tagore and he will end up as Mrugaraju.
Roja said that Chiranjeevi did not do anything for the welfare of cine artists in his three decade career in Tollywood but is now saying that he wants to do something for the poor and the downtrodden.
Roja said that Chiranjeevi is now only after power and he has not real intention of serving the poor. Some vested interests are also pushing Chiranjeevi into politics for their own personal gain. Roja also was confident that the TDP would bounce back to power after the next assembly elections.
