Debutante Director Aashiq Abu has already fixed the heroine and other crew of his Mammootty film titled 'Daddy Cool'. Scheduled to start by the next year, the movie which tells the story of cricket loving father and his son, will have ‘Shajahan’ fame Richa Pallod, the model turned actress as the heroine.
Starting with ‘Lamhe' as a child artist, Richa has already acted in some other Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. In ‘Daddy Cool’, she will play Annie, wife of crime branch officer Antony Simon, played by Mammootty.
The movie will start its shoot only by the February of 2009. The movie will be produced by Alwin Antony in the banner of Wall Green Productions. Some of the portions of the movie will be shot at America. 'Daddy Cool' will be the Midsummer release of Mammootty.
