Stars are getting behind the mike for quite some time now. And it has emerged as a trend in Bollywood which everybody associated with the world of cinema is following. The latest development is that the legendary actress of beauty and brain Rekha will now be trilling the song for her forthcoming venture, ‘Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana’. She will be rendering the late maestro of singing Mohammad Rafi’s famous ghazal from the movie Guide ‘Din Dhal Jayee’ in the film album.
Amar Bhutala is the director of this enterprise. As per the sources, the makers have not planned it to make Rekha sing the song. This is what happened that Rekha was humming this song’s lines on the sets when the director heard her and instantly decided to get her render the track. Late musician-singer SD Burman had composed this ghazal that Rafi Saab sang with an absolute marvelous style and showed the pain of the lover in his singing very aptly. Rekha has sung it on high notes that will appeal to the listeners.
Earlier Rekha has sung a track, ‘Eiffel Tower’ scored by Anu Malik in the movie ‘Bach Ke Rehna Re Baba’. Let’s wait to hear her again.
