Now that Salman Khan has mended ways with his former foe and filmmaker Subhash Ghai, it's only natural for him to shower Ghai with gifts. Recently, when Ghai celebrated his wedding anniversary and the anniversary of his production company, Mukta Arts at a suburban hotel we spotted Sallu and girlfriend Katrina Kaif making a grand entry armed with a neatly wrapped canvas.

The painting depicts a cityscape replete with religious symbols and a few towering buildings. Ghai says, “It's an extremely precious gift. Like all of his paintings, even this one has a strong social message. The painting reflects secularism and peaceful co-existence.”

However, the shy Sallu asked Ghai to uncover it only when he reaches home. Later, Sallu was seen discussing his paintings with other guests. An eyewitness says, “Salman didn't want Ghai to unveil the painting at the party. He is extremely shy and doesn't like showing off his work to people.”

The painting now graces a wall in Ghai's living room. He further informs that his Bandra apartment can be seen in the painting. “After having taken a closer look I realised that even my towering apartment can be seen in the picture,” says Ghai.

We hear that Sallu has been religiously making sketches during the outdoor schedule of his films. A source close to the actor says, “Salman doesn't have any specific timing as such. But whenever he has some free time, he gets busy with his paintings. He has made a few more sketches during the Austria schedule of Yuvraj.”
