Rambha suicide attempt news created a flutter across media circles in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Rambha clarified on why she was in hospital.
Rambha said she was on fasting on Thursday in honor of Baba, followed by ‘Varalakshmi Nombu’ on Friday and fasting further continued on Saturday for Krishna Jayanthi. She said she didn’t have solid food on all these three days. When she broke the fast with festival offerings, she ate a bit more than usual which caused stomach upset. She was taken to the hospital where she was diagnosed with food poising. Over anxious media removed food and speculated what doctor said as suicide. Rambha said she is happy in her life and never thought of suicide
