Superstar Rajnikanth is very upset with the dismal showing of his recent film Kathanayakudu The film is about friendship and the story is stated to be close to Rajnikanth’s own personal life. But the absence of commercial elements in true Rajnikanth style has affected the fate of the film at the box office.
The exhibitors have claimed that they have incurred loses to the tune of 40 crore. It now remains to be seen how far Rajnikanth will now compensate them for their loss.
