The shooting for Sivaji is currently on at Pune and the big news is that the Super Star has shaved his head to appear in some sequences being shot there.
Rajinikanth, who tonsured his head for the first time for a Tamil cinema, sports a beard quite typical to the one that he had in Baasha.
On Sunday, a few scenes were shot in Pune by the cinematographer, with director Shankar by his side.
Rajinikanth, who celebrated his birthday in a quiet manner on 12 December, took off to Pune after attending the wedding of director Selvaraghavan.
Sivaji is shaping up well and will be released this summer. Starring Shreya , Raghuvaran and Vivek in prominent roles, the movie is produced by AVM with musical score by Rahman.
