Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra began their friendship when they were shooting for their film Aitraaz together. Kareena already was a star kid due to her filmi background; however Priyanka was relatively new to the film world. Hence Kareena decided to take Priyanka under her wing and the two of them hit it off on the sets as the two were young and got along like a house on fire. Priyanka spent a lot of time with Kareena after shooting on the sets of Aitraaz. However when the film released and Priyanka walked away with all the accolades, Kareena was left stunned. This is when both the friends Priyanka and Kareena turned foes. Kareena was upset with all the praise that Priyanka had received and both Kareena and Priyanka began to keep a distance from each other.
Recently too Priyanka irked Kareena Kapoor when she did an imitation of Kareena’s ‘pooh’ act in Salaam-E-Ishq. According to sources “Kareena is not very amused by Priyanka’s imitation of her act.” Earlier too the actresses had a huge showdown when they were performing for a world concert. At the time Priyanka and Kareena tried to ignore each other at first but later towards the latter part of the concert the two of them could not even stand the sight of each other and had a huge fight screaming and yelling at each other. However after the showdown, Kareena and Priyanka did work with each other in the Pepsi commercial along with Shahrukh Khan . The two actresses tried to appear friendly and cordial with each other but made sure that each of them had equal screen space and were equally glamorous. Recently the two actresses were also seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Don with SRK again. Priyanka was the main lead in the film but unfortunately did not manage to make much of a mark. Kareena though only had a classic Helen number in the film to which she was seen gyrating but she was appreciated for even this one song and dance routine.
Unfortunately though Kareena is not likely to forget Priyanka’s imitation of her famous ‘pooh’ act. Kareena’s pooh act in the film Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham is well remembered. However Kareena is also not one to brush her dislike for anyone under the carpet just for the media and public, so one definitely wonders what will happen the next time the two actresses meet.
