Young Malayalam hero Prithviraj is slowly but steadily consolidating his position not only in Malayalam cinema but also in neighbouring Kollywood.
On home turf, Prithvi's latest film, ‘Chocolate’ was the biggest hit of recent times.
In the process, for the first time, Prithvi managed to wean away the young fans of Mammootty and Mohanlal .
In Tamil, he is acting in two films. One is titled ‘Vellithirai’, which is a remake of the Mohanlal starrer, ‘Udayananu Tharam’.
The second movie featuring Prithviraj is ‘Kannamoochi Eenada’, which is expected to be released by Diwali
Earlier, the young actor attracted attention with a compelling performance in ‘Mozhi’ in which Jyothika was his heroine. He was also a much-appreciated villain in another film ‘Kana Kandein’.
It seems Prithviraj is at long last in the big league in Tamil cinema, too.
