The President of India Smt. Prathibha Patil visited Tirumala, the abode of lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy, along with her family this morning. She came to Tirumala from Hyderabad. The President is in Hyderabad as part of her winter sojourn. She arrived in Tirupathi by special flight.
The officials welcomed Rashtrapthi with full temple honours. She prayed in the temple for about 15 minutes. She will return back to Hyderabad this evening.
