Choreographer turned hero Prbhu Deva has now turned to direction. His film 'Nuvvosthanante NeNuvaddhantana' with hero Siddharth and Trisha was a big hit both in Telugu and Tamil. His remake of Pokiri in Tamil also did good business.
He is presently directing Chirnajjevi in the Hindi remake of Lage Raho Munnabai which is titled Shankar Dada Zindababd. According to reports, Prabhu Deva is reportedly being paid Rs. 2 crores for directing the film. If the film becomes a hit, it would launch Prabhu Deva into the top league of directors and also establish him firmly as a director.
