Director Posani Krishna Murali made the film ‘Apada Mokkulavaadu’ with Nagababu as hero. The film is a political satire loaded heavily with political statements. The film also refers to the entry of Chiranjeevi into politics.
The film could not be released as scheduled due to some finance problems. Posani blamed Dasari Narayana Rao for the fiasco. He stated that Dasari deliberately held up some payment and ensured that the film was not released on time. Dasari bought the rights for Apada Mokkulavaadu for some areas in the state.
Posani also stated that Dasarialways shed crocodile tears about small producers and small films. When it came to releasing his small budget film, Dasari deliberately put his foot in the way to see that the film could not be released on time. Dasari’s real intentions have been exposed with this incident, said Posani.
