The cost of a litre petrol is increased by Rs.4/- and Diesel by Rs.2/- The new prices declared by the petroleum ministry will come into effect from today mid night. However, the Government has decided not to touch the Gas and Kerosene prices. The effect of the price hike will directly reflect on the commodities and vegetables, thus putting more burdens on the middle class and down trodden. People’s outcry for the unaffordable prices was so far unheard and ignored by the government, and it is trying to put more load on its people with the latest hike.
