Padmapriya, the Sathum Podathaay heroine who did not turn up for the premiere of her film, saw it back to back a week later in Chennai.
On Wednesday (Sep 19), she flew into Chennai from Kochi where she was shooting for her period film Pazhassi Raja. She took a cab from the airport and went straight to Inox and watched the film for noon show. She took a quick bite and breezed into Sathyam Cinema’s and watched it once again for Matinee!
Words flow incessantly from her as she speaks to Moviebuzz on her way back to the airport: “I am here just to watch my film and loved the first half. I thought the second half could be better”. The pretty intelligent actress who chooses her films with utmost care has been always considered a serious performer though she disagrees and says: “Why it is that nobody has tried me out in a glamour role?”
When asked about her alleged link up with co-star Pritviraj, she quips: “Me and Raju! It’s completely untrue. We get along well and are good friends”.
