The Bhojpuri remake of Sholay titled Gabbar Singh is scheduled to release this Friday. And already director Mahesh Pandey is ready to start on another remake.
Karzaa, a remake of Subhash Ghai's Karz, will have superstar Ravi Kissen in Rishi Kapoor's role. Interestingly, Himesh Reshammiya is enacting the same role in Satish Kaushik's Hindi remake of the reincarnation thriller.
Pandey confirms the news but refuses to give out any details.
"Wait for a couple of days, I'll be making a big announcement. All I can say at this juncture is that I'm making Karzaa with Ravi," says he.
Nagma for the vamp
The buzz is that Pandey is keen on casting Nagma in Simi Garewal's role. Urmila Matondkar is doing the negative role in Kaushik's Karzzz.
And while Indra Kumar's daughter Shwetha has been cast opposite Reshmmiya, a top-ranking TV actress will slip into Tina Munim's shoes in the Bhojpuri Karzaa.
"Gabbar Singh is the costliest film ever made in Bhojpuri. Karzaa will be even bigger," promises Pandey.
