Famous and Noted Actress and Dancer of yester years Padmini passed away of heart Attack in Chennai at Appolo Hospital and she was 74 years old. She was part of the film industry and acted in over 250 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and in Hindi films. She was Born in Tiruvanantapuram on June 12th 1932. Chief Minister of Tamilnadu M Karunanidhi expressed grief and stated that they have lost a great actress a dancer in Padmini. Former Chief Minister J Jayalalitha said that the state has lost not only a good actress but this is a loss to the industry.
