The entire media in the state is speculating about Chiranjeevi's entry into politics. Reams and reams of newsprint have been devoted for covering the pros and cons of his political entry. Even the electronic media has devoted hundreds of hours for covering news about his political entry.
But the situation in Chiranjeevi's hometown, Mogalthur is in quite contrast to all this. There is absolutely no talk whatsoever anywhere about him or his imminent political entry. There is hardly anything visible in the village, just 112 kilometers from Narasapur to say that Chiranjeevi was born here. There are just a couple of old posters pasted on the walls of his former house.
The villagers said that Chiranjeevi hardly ever visits the place. He has made it very big but has not done anything to develop his village. The villagers are therefore very lukewarm to the idea of Chiranjeevi entering politics. If as an actor, who made millions, could not do anything for his village, what great things can we expect from him now, seems to be the question on the people's mind in Mogalthur.
