The condition of noted filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee , undergoing treatment for kidney ailment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai for the past five days, has ‘not improved’, according to agency reports.
“There has been no improvement in his condition but also no significant deterioration,” hospital officials are quoted by a news agency.
Mukherjee, who has given Bollywood some of its most memorable films like Anand , ‘Golmaal’ and ‘Chupke Chupke’, was admitted to the hospital in suburban Bandra on June 6.
Since then, he has been in the ICU and on dialysis, they said.
