Ask Meera Nandan, who is now acting in the Tamil film Valmiki, what she would have become if she hadn't been an actress and pat comes the reply,"I might have become a singer."
The lady, who is making her debut in Kollywood with the film directed by Anantha Narayanan, was a TV anchor and has hosted a successful reality music show on Asianer channel. She did Mulla, a Malayalam movie with Dileep before she decided to migrate to Tamil. "I've undergone training in classical music. I've been practising it for the last 13 years as music is my passion," she reveals with a smile.
Does she have any regrets on not becoming a singer," There is still time, right?" she says and smiles. Looks like we are going to have another actress-cum-singer!
