Moxie Entertainments P. Ltd., a production company based in Kolkata, has announced its next Hindi production, titled BBD. Anjan Dutt, director of Bada Din, Bow Barracks Forever and The Bong Connection, is directing this political thriller. The film stars Naseeruddin Shah, Jimmy Sheirgill, Kay Kay Menon, Sandhya Mridul, Rituparna Sengupta, Sonali Kulkarni, newcomer Shauvik and a host of well-known actors from Kolkata.
Indranil Mukherjee is the director of Photography and Arhgyakamal Mitra the editor. Neel Dutt provides the music. BBD revolves around three young men -- Binoy, a young model-actor from Mumbai, Badal, a hard-boiled honest Kolkata cop and Dennis, an ex-rock musician junkie who migrated to the U.S. -- who are thrown together due to the most unusual circumstances. It goes on to tell about how these young men meet and how their lives get inextricably bound together.
BBD will be shot on location in Kolkata.
