Criticising about the Nandi Awards function organised by the State Govt. TDP leader Roja said, “It looks like a political function and not a film function. It’s bait for the ‘TRIO’ who were chosen ( Krishna , Nag, and Prince) for the awards, in view of the coming elections. They are now bonded to YSR till the next elections.
If the Govt. is so proud of its achievements, then why did the YSR team is running behind the Cine Field? The Congress Party has created a vertical split in the film industry with these awards function. Some heroes and others from film industry were there, only because of the pressures by YSR and his men, and they sang to the tunes of YSR forgetting that they are on the stage of a film function.
“Talking about the permission given for ticket price hike in the theatres, Roja said, “If those heroes agree for a cut in their remuneration by Rs.15-20 lakhs which is not a big amount for them, it will be a great help for the industry as well as their fans.”
