The eldest daughter of NT Rama Rao and now a congress MP and union minister Daggubati Purandareswari is a bitter critic of the TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu. She appealed to her brothers not to fall into the trap of Babu. She wrote a letter to her brothers and also enclosed a CD of the comments made by NT Rama Rao after Babu dethroned him in a coup.
The letter goes like this …Dear Brothers… and she reminded them how Babu used the services of Hari Krishna after the coup and later slowly sidelined him as he feared that Hari Krishna would be a threat to him as he as more popular than Babu in the TDP as well as among the people of the state.
She also urged her brothers not fall into the trap of Babu. Babu is using Balakrishna to strengthen his position in the party and the state. When Trakarathna said that Balayya would be the next chief minster, Babu immediately swung into action and saw to it that the demand was dropped.
Purandareswari also said that she has proof to show that she tried to stop he husband Daggubati Venkatewsawara Rao when he tried to go to the viceroy hotel where the TDP MLAs were held hostage by Babu to dislodge NT Rama Rao.
Purandeswari also reminded them how she informed everyone about her intention to join the congress. Everyone agreed with her and encouraged her. Now the same people are criticizing her. She asked her brothers to watch the CD and realize what great agony their late father went through after he was back stabbed by Babu.
