Namitha is playing the title role in a bilingual film titled as Jaganmohini. The film is a remake of the hit Vittalacharya film Jaganmohini released in the seventies. Jayamalini played the title role in the film and Narasimha Raju and Prabha were the lead actors.
The new film will star Namitha in the title role and Raja and Meera Chopra will play the lead roles. H Murali is the producer and Vishwanathan is the director. The shooting for the Telugu version will commence on July 21. The shooting for the Tamil version commence some time back.
