The Nagarjuna-starrer Don directed by Ragava Larencce had successfully completed 50 days despite a divided talk and is running towards the path of profits. Nagarjuna , who was happy at the success of the Don , says, 'The budget of a film depends on the subject and it is not proper to spend lavishly for the sake of richness. However, the budget for star hero's films would be generally a little more. Several people used to ask as to why the producers did not limit the budget.
It is all trash. Every producer knows well on how much to spend on the subject. No one would go for unnecessary spending. Audiences always look for novelty and in order to attract them, there is a need to put some attractions in the movie. This was the reason that the star heroes' films will have lavish sets and shootings abroad. In order to please the audiences, the producer had no option but to spend the money for these special attractions.
My next film would be on the banner of Kamakshi Movies to be produced by D Sivaprasad Reddy under the direction of Sreenu Vaitla.'
