 JR. NTR’s new film is yet to take off. After Kantri , NTR is now in a dilemma. His Yamadonga was a modest success but Kantri did not give him the expected result at the box office. VV Vinayak prepared a script with NTR in mind and narrated the same to him some time back. NTR did not like the script and asked Vinayak to revise it. After revision Vinayak approached NTR once again but the new script was also not to the liking of NTR NTR asked Vinayak to come up with a novel story. So Vinayak is now back to the story board. NTR was supposed to commence work on his new film in June itself. As the story is not ready, the shooting has been further delayed. The release of Jimmy, the debut film of veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty's son, Mimoh, is reportedly to have been delayed again. The film, which has been directed by Raj N Sippy, was originally due to release last year. Jimmy's release was pushed to this year. The date for the film's release was fixed for April 25, but according to reports, the film will not be releasing on that day. According to the news doing the rounds, Sahara, which was supposed to release the movie, has backed more Greenlands-flyover-further-delayed The completion of Greenlands flyover will be further delayed due to the JMC Projects Ltd. and GHMC are wrangling over compensation for the time overrun in the project, the contractor has sought an additional amount of Rs.9.87 crore as compensation, while the project cost itself if only Rs.13.36 crore. JMC Projects won the contract for construction of Greenlands flyover for Rs 13.36 crore in 2005 and was expected to complete it within 15 months, latest by February 2007. But the flyover works are still going on and are likely to be over by January 2009. & more Dhanush’s-Yaaradi-Nee:-Delayed-by-a-song-  Dhanush- Nayanthara starrer Yaaradi Nee Mohini (YNM) might be delayed due to the inclusion of a song in the last minute. The movie, which is a remake of Telugu movie, ‘Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule’ was set for release by the third week of February. Now it is rumoured that it may be delayed due to the introduction of a new song which is the remix of yester year hit ‘Paalakkadu Pakkathile’ in Sivaji Ganesan’s ‘Vietnam Veedu’. The unit is waiting for the nod from Selvaraghavan who is the writer cum director o more Fog-‘hits’-flights-at-Shamshabad  The new Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad is touted as a hi-tech state-of-the-art airport in the country. But the flights in the airport are being cancelled and delayed on account of fog. The airport has a sophisticated Instrument Landing system. But the operations at the airport are anything but normal. Flights are being delayed by hours together. The passengers are being inconvenienced and the GMR officials seem to be clueless. &n more NTR’s-Adurs-on-October-14  The Jr. NTR starrer directed by VV Vinayak has been delayed on account of the elections and then the accident that forced Jr. NTR to take rest for almost three months. Jr. NTR is now fully recovered and is raring to commence shooting for his much delayed film. Vinayak has planned for a continuous schedule from July 1. Nayanatara and Sheela are the heroines. Devi Sree Prasad is scoring the music for the film. The tentative released date of Adurs has been fixed as October 14. more CM’s-Jerusalem-trip-delayed  The proposed trip of Chief Minister YS Rajashekar Reddy to Jerusalem has been postponed by a day. YS was to leave for Jerusalem today but his trip has now been delayed as he was busy with allotment of portfolios to the ministers in his cabinet. YSR will now leave for Jerusalem on Wednesday. He will return on May 30. K Rosaiah will look after all important administrative matters during YSR’s absence. The CM will keep in touch with Rosaiah and will be updated about all important developments at regular intervals. more Pawan-the-Professional Actor Pawan Kalyan has been going through a bad phase for quite sometime. In fact, a major part of 2007 was spent in battling the court case filed against him by his first wife Nandini. This delayed his work on film ‘Jalsa’ to a considerable extent. If course, Ileana also had some date problems to. Pawan Kalyan’s father passed away recently. Despite being in mourning, Pawan composed himself and after immersing the ashes of his father in river Penna, he resumed work. Pawan Kalyan is now shooting for some key climax scenes and he is reporting to work every day so that the film does not get delayed further on account of him. The unit members were amazed to see his professional side and his commitment to work. more Jalsa-delayed Pawn Kalyan’s Jalsa is likely to be delayed further. The film hit the floor in January but has not yet completed shooting. Ileana and Pawan Kalyan caused some of the delay with their personal engagements. Pawan Kalyan is now shooting for the film despite being in great pain with tennis elbow. Even Allu Aravind is keen to release the film in time for Sakaranthi. But it appears that the film may not be ready for Sankaranthi. So Allu Aravind is now reportedly considering March 20 as the release date for Jalsa. But March is exam time and students may to relish the idea of Pawan’s film being released at that time. & more |
