After director Ravi Chopra’s Baabul got tax exemption in UP, it’s now the turn of Mani Ratnam’s Guru.

The Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai starrer was given the tax waiver by the Uttar Pradesh Government on Tuesday.

The decision to grant tax exemption to the Mani Ratnam film for a period of three months was taken at a meeting of the state cabinet in Lucknow, official sources told PTI.

The state government has in the past granted tax exemption to several Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan movies.

So, with good times rolling in for the Bachchans this seems to just be one of the many things going Abhishek’s way.
