Actress and Underworld don Abu Salem's girlfriend Monica Bedi was lucky enough to have a saviour in Sanjay Nirupam when the actress was offered help by the latter in buying a house.
Actually the incident took place during an episode of entertainment programme Big Boss Season2 when Monica narrated her predicament. She said that she was facing great difficulty in find a place to stay and was too broke to buy a house.
Playing Good Samaritan, Sanjay Nirupam offered help to a inconsolable Monica who is desperately trying to establish herself in her second innings.
'When we get out of this show, I will get you a house in Lokhandwala where all the Bollywood people stay or anywhere else you want,' Nirupam stated during the episode aired on Wednesday night.
The offer came when gangster Abu Salem's companion Monica spoke about her dire need for money to buy a house in India's financial capital.
Monica said: 'The prize is very important. It holds a lot of meaning for me. People think Monica Bedi has a lot of money. But it is not so. I need this money to buy a home. Nobody gives me a house on rent also because people are scared of me.
It is worth mentioning here that Monica and Nirupam, along with 11 others, are vying for the Rs.750,000 prize money.
One would win the show after spending three months closeted in a house without any communication with the outside world.
