The young heroine Monali Chowdary made her debut in Shekhar Kammula’s film ‘Happy Days’. Her role as Sangeetha got her wide spread recognition. She bagged a role in the TV serial ‘Yuva’ produced by Nagarjuna in association with MAA TV.

But after acting in some episodes, she suddenly decided to opt out of the serial. She says that she wants to concentrate on her career in Tollywood and hence has decided to stop working in TV serials. This is certainly a bold decision, as she is just one film old in the industry.
