Bollywood hero Mohit Ahlawat is well known among the Telugu audiences with films like James and 'Siva 2006'. It is well aware that he came from Ramgopal Varma's school. However, Ramgopal Varma and Mohit were not seeing eye-to-eye these days. Later, he was removed from the casting of 'Sholay'.
However, he was selected to play the role of an inspector in the Hindi remake of 'Gajini'. It may be mentioned here that Murugudas, who directed the film in Tamil is again directing the Hindi version with Amir Khan and Asin in the lead to be produced by Allu Aravind on the banner of Gita Arts. Speaking on the occasion, Mohit says, 'After my separation with Ramgopal Varma,
I got dozens of offers. It is a good experience to work with Amir Khan. I am sure that the film would earn me a good name and remain a milestone in my career.'
