Actor Mohanlal is seen everywhere these days, in print, on hoardings and on TV. He is seen promoting a brand of Whiskey. He is seen in the ad asking everyone about their plans for the evening implying if they are ready for a drink.

The blatant promotion of liquor has angered many people in the state particularly Gandhians. They are now up in arms against the actor. They say that when so many are making efforts to enlighten people on the ill effects of alcohol, it is unfortunate ion the part of Mohanlal to promote liquor so blatantly.

Mohanlal however defended his decision. He says that when so many actors in the country are appearing in ads promoting liquor, it is unfair to single him out.
