Mohanlal and Navya Nair bagged the awards for the best in acting departments in the third Amritha Awards, which was announced yesterday. Roshan Andrews was selected as the best director for 'Note book’. Veteran director, K.S. Sethu Madhavan will be honored in the function by giving him award for outstanding contribution to Malayalam cinema. The function will also host a special program on the fifty year history of Malayalam cinema

The award was selected through a carefully monitored public based Gallup poll. The awards will be distributed in a grand function tomorrow at the Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium at the capital city.
