Ashok R. Nath has titled his new film with veteran actress Sukumari in the lead as Mizhikal Sakshi. The film which is trying to route out an important social issue has many specialties behind it.
Mizhikal Sakshi is on the script by Anil Mukhathala based on story by Ashok R. Nath, with cinematography by Ramachandra Babu, and art-direction by Manoj Kavumba.
The film which starts by the end of next month will also have accomplished actors like Jagathy Sreekumar, Manoj K Jayan and Nedumudi Venu.
The coming together of three great figures of Malayalam music is one of the biggest highlight of this movie. The movie will have Gaana Gandharvan Yesudas singing for veteran music director V Dakshinamoothy in the lyrics of O N V Kurup. This team is coming together after a gap of twenty years for the creation of a song for films.
Two of the most accomplished female singers in Indian Cinema itself - S. Janaki and K.S. Chithra will also be part of the music of the movie. The same director was the one who helped Jassie gift to make a mark through his film Saphalam which won many accolades.
This third venture from the director after Saphalam and December is produced by V.R. Das and V. Mohanlal under the banner of Cyber Vision.
The producers also created a model for everyone by doing the pooja of the film at the Sree Chithra Poor Home in Thiruvananthapuram where the traditional inaugural lamp was lit by the State Education Minister M.A. Baby. After being with the poor children for some time the celebrities again came together for the recording of a song rendered by Padmashri Yesudas at the Vismaya studio in Thiruvananthapuram.
