The bandh call given by the farmer associations received mixed respnse. Political parties like the TDP, BJP, Communists and others backed the bandh. RTC buses were off the roads in many districts. While the bandh had a poor impact in the twin cities, in some districts, business and transport came to a stand still. The bandh call was given to demand MSP for paddy.
