Coca Cola has launched its natural fruit juice Maid Minute Pulpy Orange in Hyderabad on Monday. The company hopes to catch a major chunk of the soft beverages market with its new product being launched in the country.
The company has set up a plant in Chittoor and the plant will produce the drink which would be initially supplied in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The company officials hope that the 100% natural juice with real pulp would appeal to the increasingly health conscious younger generation.
The adverse impact of the presence of pesticides in soft drinks has resulted in a sharp decline in the consumption of soft drinks across the country. Some educational institutions have banned the sale of soft drinks in their premises.
