A Mighty Heart , movie based on the life of Daniel Pearl is a much awaited film and specially for those ordinary people who played a part in it.
Shot in Pune the director cast many locals to play small parts. And while the media was going frantic to get a glimpse of the Brangelina pair, there were some who were part of the cast and crew.
These actors arrived for the premier of the movie in Pune. One of them was Saira Nasir Khan who was cast as Angelina's housemaid in the movie.
Saira came in with her daughter who also had role. Living in a slum in Pune now these two have a Hollywood venture to boast of.
After the show Saira said, "I really liked the movie."
When the actors were asked if they liked the movie because they were in the movie?
Sujata Humne who played the terrorists aunt said, "No it is because the movie is made well and also I know all the people in that film."
The movie seems to have a grand welcome in Pune despite all the controversy surrounding the film.
Daniel Pearl was the Wall Street Journal's South Asia Bureau Chief, he was kidnapped and killed in Pakistan in 2002.
