Let us remind this day when a miracle had occurred some 13 years ago. It was around 7.59 am on November 15, 1993, a flight crash-landed in agricultural fields near Balayyapalle Cheruvu in Kalvakunta village some six kilometers from Venkatagiri of Chittoor district. A popular comedian of the Telugu film industry and a hero from the same family came out along with their families. God had showered all his mercy on them. None were at least injured in the incident. The experienced pilot of the flight Captain Bhalla managed to crash-land the flight without any casualties or injuries to the persons inside the flight, of course, there was a little damage to the flight. They are none other than Allu Ramalingaiah and his wife Kanakaratnam, their son-in-law Mega Star Chiranjeevi , his wife Surekha Vani When the flight crash-landed Chiranjeevi's youngest daughter was in his lap. The entire family got frightened at the incident, but Chiranjeevi recouped earlier and pacified everyone in the family and went to the nearby village and spoke to the owner of a film theatre, who immediately recognized him. The theatre owner informed the Venkatagiri sub-collector about the incident who rushed to the spot with medical team. Later, the family left for Chennai by road in a special bus. That miraculous escape gave us the Telugu film industry a Mega Star who bagged the Padmabhushan besides Kalaprapoorna awards this year. Let us pray God that our Mega Star remain in good health and enact many more important roles, both in films and in his real life.
