Meera Vasudev, who starred in Mohanlal's Thanmatara is seeking divorce from her husband. She made her debut in Unnai Saranadaindhein. In 2005, she married Vishal Agarwal, the son of cameraman Ashok Kumar. Even after marriage, Meera Vasudevan continued to act in films and TV serials. Her Thanmatra with the super star was a super hit, so she continued to get offers from Malayalam films.
She was also supposed to act in a Hindi film produced by her husband, but relations between the couple deteriorated last year. Meera gave a complaint at the police station that her husband confiscated her property and was also cruel to her. It has been reported that she went to the Family Welfare Court to apply for her divorce. Meera has also filed for 50 lakhs compensation for torturing her.
