Career rivalry is inevitable when two talented artistes like Meera Jasmine and Nayantara meet. Interestingly, these Malayalee beauties are heating up competition away from home. Both of them have established their place in Kollywood and Tollywood. People see them as reel rivals but reality tells different story. The fact is that they are in good terms with each other and Meera drove the point straight home by visiting the site of Nayantara’s palatial house in Kerala recently. In fact, Nayantara’s work has inspired her to build a house of her own.
Meera Jasmine entered filmdom through Malayalam film Soothradharan and went on to act in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film. She won the National Award for best actress for her performance in Paadhom Onnu Oru Vilaapam. Today, she is one of the most talented actresses around down south. But her counterpart Nayantara is making her run for the money. She is cashing in on her glamour to steal the hearts of the people. After acting in Tamil films, she has also started taking up Telugu films and doing great. They are eating up each other’s pie in reel life but are still friends in real life.
